Clapton and Winwood together outstanding! February 15, 2010 Howard Baum (Pompton Lakes NJ) When Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood coraborated on this project they really did it right. As a long standing fan of both artists, I knew without listening that it was going to be an excelent disk! I was correct there wasn't a single song that disappionts. Eric Clapton a tasteful "lord of the strings" has been undergoing a major trans-formation of sorts. I will explain my thoughts by saying that I have followed him from pre bluesbreakers all the way to the present. I have always loved the blues and blues guitar because it allows the artist with the chops and taste to reveal the feeling of the music as related to "lifesong". The cry of ecxtasy, the the triumph of love, the soulful keen of love lost, the remorse of love betrayed and finally sweet revenge and retribution. When a peformer of Clapton's ability learns the importance of portraying the "lifessong" of the music you get something very rare indeed! I always been a fan of Steve Winwood his contribution to this project is no less important. Perfection no not quite but close cudos to both performers! Additionally it seemed that the perform-ers were enjoying playing together almost as much as I was enjoying hearing them play together was refreashing.
In our world of anything and everything for a buck it was refreshing to see that money wasn't the only issue in doing this project. Oh and by the way my email is: dblues@opton line.net I chose that email name because i am and will probibly always be a blues afectionado!
Great Concert February 14, 2010 Val W. Rananawski (Millville New jersey) I love Clapton and Winwood by themselfs. But together and doing most of their best songs just blew me away. This is a must for any collection.

I have a brand new bluray and I've watched a bunch of things but, this dvd does not work. I got two from amazon and both were defective. I just got my money back. I still want a working dvd.
Great Times, Great Band February 9, 2010 M. Huber (Florida) I wish these guys would collaborate on a studio recording of all new material. These guys are great together regardless, new or old. I have been a big fan of both sense the 70's and have really enjoyed watching this performance. I have a fairly elaborate A/V system and have really gotten into watching live concerts on both Blu-ray and DVD. I think this is the new wave of Hi-End audio recordings with the newer Dolby & DTS loss less formats, and you get to WATCH the musicians too! I have about 75 recorded concerts and this one is pretty darn good. A lot of fun to watch and listen to, highly recommended to A/V fan's and any fan of these guy's music.
I wish Amazon had a 3 Criteria rating that would make for a quicker and more accurate and fair rating of Cd's, DVD's and Blu-ray's.
1. Performance
2. Quality of Audio
3. Quality of Video (for DVD's and Blu-ray's)
1.*****
2.****
3.*****
Bands that wish to have there performances recorded and recognised should be held to a standard. Poor audio, no matter how good the performance, is still a bad product. Those who would still purchase sub-standard audio quality recordings and rank that product highly are not doing the industry or the band justice. Demand better and we will get it, settle for less and that's what you'll get.
Clapton -Winwood Winner February 6, 2010 D. Smith (Tar Heel) Wow! These are two icons who were once part of the "search for the super-group" when they formed Blind Faith. Their reunion 39 years on was real dynamite. The DVD quality is superb, and if you can listen to the audio using the DTS Surround available as an option, turn up the old amp and enjoy!
